Luggage transport

The advantage of going on a cycling holiday with luggage transfers is that you can set off in the morning on the next leg of the bike tour with only your light daytime gear. During the day, you'll cycle comfortably without luggage. In the evening, you will find the remaining luggage in your new accommodation waiting at the hotel's reception desk. Our included and efficient luggage transfers make all this possible!

Simply leave the luggage behind and the same luggage will be waiting for you in the late afternoon/evening at the next hotel. Instead of having to take a fully loaded bicycle with you each day, you can travel lightly and make the most of cycling without worrying about storage or the extra weight. Things such as our daily essentials, travel documents and electronic devices are carried in the included handlebar and saddlebags.

Cycling without luggage

We transport your suitcases and travel bags from one accommodation to the next. This means that you can fully concentrate on the pleasure of cycling, the landscape and stopping off at interesting places along the way.

You simply leave the logistical stress and effort to our experienced in-house logistics team.

If you don't feel like getting on your bike, the transport service offers an easy ride if there is room!

Luggage transfer service information

Daily service: Your luggage will be transported on-site daily by the team and will be waiting for you at the hotel in the evening.
The number of pieces of luggage: On all original journeys you can take as many pieces of luggage as you want. For some partner tours, the number of bags may be limited to one or two per person.
Weight: We transport luggage up to a maximum of 20 kilograms.
Liability: As the luggage is loaded and unloaded several times during the tour, it is subject to wear and tear. Active on Holiday and Eurobike cannot be held liable for optical damage or damage to handles and/or roller wheels. Unusual baggage and means of payment (carried-in baggage) are also excluded from liability.

Our included services

On our cycling holidays with included services, we offer water-repellent saddle and handlebar bags for your day luggage. The accessories from renowned top manufacturers such as Vaude are optimally matched to our bikes. All panniers are extremely solid, durable and water-repellent.

So everything you carry with you during the day stays dry, even on rainy days. For minor emergencies, our bicycles are also equipped with a service kit including tools, a spare tyre and an air pump. A combination lock protects against bicycle thieves. Please use the provided locks when bikes are unattended.
